A Scarf For Me

Isn't this beautiful? I swear this Patons SWS was made for Entrelac Knitting.
After completing my socks, I still had some leftover yarn. I thought about my original idea of a drawstring purse, but after seeing this gorgeous entrelac stole, I thought I'd give it a go with the Patons.
I'm totally in love with how it's working up.
The beginning few blocks are a bit wonky in their joins because I was still figuring out where to pick up the stitches. Now I've got the hang of it, so hopefully the rest will be smooth sailing from here.
The pattern I'm using is called Danica Scarf. I was super intimidated to try this but it's actually a lot easier than I'd thought. I figure this should take me the better part of the next couple of weeks and then I'll have a beautiful scarf to cuddle up with this winter. *squeal*

As for other projects, I've finished one sock for my hubby and the second sock has been cast on and is thriving well in its infancy. I'm taking a break from it now, though.
Hmm.... I wonder if that will stunt its growth.
