And look at that - blocking was a success!

It no longer smells of funk.

In fact, it smells a bit of Chanel No. 5.

(That could be because I sprayed it with my perfume. I did that so that while it's wrapped around my neck I wouldn't smell the funk. And more importantly, no one else would, either.)

Isn't it pretty?


Check out those corners! I'm totally amazed by the blocking process. I was able to produce corners where there were none and change the shape of this from awkward parallelogram to perfect rectangle.

I'm simply in awe.

This is the first project I've blocked - the first I've really had to block.

And other than the ... ahem ... odor, I can't imagine not doing it on further projects.

It's so light and airy, yet warm and cuddly at the same time. I can't wait to wear this.
