Clappy and Bunnies

Lookeeee! Another Clapoteeee!

I made this one for the store. We've got this beautiful Lorna's Laces that isn't moving well and I suggested making a Clapotis with it.

Details:

Pattern: Clapotis, Kate Gilbert, Knitty
Yarn: Lorna's Laces Swirl Chunky, color: Georgetown, 4 hanks
Needles: Addi Turbos US13 24" circular
Started: June17, 2007
Finished: June 21, 2007
Modifications: Lessened the width and made it a little longer.

And the other project I turned in tonight made Steven absolutely flip.

He asked me last week to make a reversible cabled scarf out of this Elsbeth Lavold Angora he's had for a couple of years and not sold. He sent me home with a couple of possible patterns, but neither of them really struck me. So I decided to try my hand and designing one.

It was addicting! I literally could not put this one down (and really only did so to sleep and when I ran out of yarn.)

Details:

Pattern: my own
Yarn: Elsbeth Lavold Angora, color: white, 4 hanks
Needles: Clover Bamboo, US9, 16" circular
Started: June18, 2007
Finished: June 21, 2007

Here's a close up:

I am SO happy with the design of this scarf, which upon seeing, Steven said it was his "new favorite in the store."

Yay!

Ok, enjoy your weekend, kittens!
