More Spinning!

I wasn't going to spin today since I have some other things I need to do (ie, knitting for work) but I couldn't keep my fingers off the roving.
Spinning is a new passion.
Now that I got that "trial" yarn spun and I feel pretty good about working with the fiber and the Spindolyn, I'm ready to try spinning this roving for real.
I've got a sock-weight single going here. I think what I'd like to do is spin up a couple of these and then ply them together.
Or, if they turn out well enough, maybe I'll just leave them.
There are now a few things on my mental wish list. A proper lazy-kate and a few bobbins for winding off on (which I could also use to help ply), a niddy noddy (if things go well, I could have a handmade one of these sometime soon), a Mother Marion Kick Spindle/Wheel (which my loving and amazing hubby has graciously said he'll make for me), oh, and of course, more fiber.
A close-up to see the yarn among all of the beautiful airy fiber.
This is the most fun!
